How to Install Wordpress


This guide will detail how to install Wordpress using the One-Click Installs feature available in StackCP.

  1. Login to StackCP
  2. Once in StackCP, scroll to the One-Click Installs section, select Most Popular in the drop down menu, and WordPress will be displayed. Please select this.

  3. It will then ask you to select which domain you wish to install WordPress on from the drop-down menu. For the Directory, please enter the document root you have set for the domain (You can enter ‘/’ if you want WordPress to be installed on the site root, we would recommend this). Once entered, please press the Install WordPress button.

  4. This will then show a progress bar on the installation. Once done, will then be installed:

  5. Once installed successfully, head to your domain and you will be prompted to select the Language for the WordPress install.

  6. Next you can customise the install by setting a Site Title, login Username & Password, the admin Email Address and also whether search engines should be discouraged to index the site



  7. After you have inputted this info click Install WordPress, and the install will be completed.
  8. You will then be greeted with a Success! message and be provided a link where you can log in to the WordPress Admin panel to administer your new installation.
