What Is A Backup

Backup is a saved copy of the files for your website. It can be used to restore your site if anything happens to the original files. Although storing backups is not allowed on shared servers, you are free to take backups however you wish and download them periodically to your local computer. CPanel includes ways to back up your files and databases. File manager in cPanel provides a way to archive all of your files.

Midphase does take backups of the servers, but depending on your package, there may be a fee for us to restore from our backups. For more information about backups, please contact the Midphase Support Team.
