WordPress vs. Joomla vs. Drupal
What is your favorite CMS?

Recently some of us at the midPhase offices were debating about which content management system was the best. While there are a lot of great CMS solutions out there, we narrowed down our debate to WordPress, Joomla, & Drupal. One thing that has surprised me in working within the hosting industry is the passion that people have towards a specific CMS solution. You might argue that depending on the intended use that one is better than the other. However, we wanted to know – all things consideredwhich one is the best?
Ultimately, we never could agree which aforementioned CMS is the best. That’s when we decided to take a different approach and see which of these three CMS solutions clients were installing the most. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to be 100% accurate with the total number of installations but we attempted to do our best.
Unofficial Results:
Wordpress – 43%
Joomla – 29%
Drupal – 27%
These numbers are constantly changing and are by no means definitive but it’s a fun look at an ongoing debate.
So, we are curious what is you favorite CMS solution and why?
